It's s-surprisingly cold today. Even the tea...

[Housemates will find her curled up on the sofa with a large cup of tea and a blanket, shivering.]

[Nephry leaves the journal open for the sake of checking on it between cooking steps. Enjoy the sounds of a small but active kitchen for a while. ...Things are a little quiet when she comes back.]

First Luke, then Jade, and now Saphir...it's disconcerting, to say the least.

I apologize for my delay in helping to arrange the meeting we've been discussing. I have no excuses, and my only explanation is that I was quite distracted.

That said, would this coming Friday work for everyone?

I'm going to be out of the house for a while. I should be back before it gets too late.

[Nephry set out rather early this morning, actually, headed for the small lake. She's spent a good amount of time being sure that what she's doing is safe and isn't going to result in anything unpleasant. After she's sure of all that, and checks to see if anyone's nearby, she leaves the journal on a cleared spot near the edge of the lake and, slowly at first because it's been a while, heads away on a pair of ice skates]

[making her way quietly home would be much easier without the snowfall. Already hampered by needing to lean on a stick she picked up on the way, Nephry moves slowly into the western part of the village, not expecting to find anyone at this time of night and in this weather. In a suspicious gesture of kindness she was left with a coat, which she's wearing, so at least she isn't frozen...this time]

The strange memory loss, immediately followed by a holiday, has probably left everyone a little out of sorts. ...Though the holiday itself was quite enjoyable. I'm afraid I never caught an explanation of it, however; if anyone has the spare time, I would like to hear one.

[first of all, there are several inconsequential doodles. This should be concerning because Nephry just doesn't doodle. Next there are several sentences that are so well crossed out they are unreadable. An ink spot where the pen rested too long on the page. A few more doodles.]

I...think I should go for a walk. I will take my journal with me just in case, however.

[and for those out and about, Nephry can be found standing on the bridge between houses 32 and 33 and Community Housing 5. It is quite the long walk, and it will continue in a short while if she's not interrupted. She will answer written or voiced messages too, of course. ...The doodling is kind of a giveaway that something is wrong here]

I realize that the healers here are already overworked and doing all they can. It's a lot for anyone to handle. ...However, if any of you have the time and energy to spare, please stop by House 1. It isn't urgent. Don't feel the need to rush.
