First Luke, then Jade, and now Saphir...it's disconcerting, to say the least.

I apologize for my delay in helping to arrange the meeting we've been discussing. I have no excuses, and my only explanation is that I was quite distracted.

That said, would this coming Friday work for everyone?

Now that the latest experiment is behind us, and with the current situation only as always temporary at best - with a likely turn for the worse in the very near future - there are a few things that require serious consideration.

I'm going to be out of the house for a while. I should be back before it gets too late.

[Nephry set out rather early this morning, actually, headed for the small lake. She's spent a good amount of time being sure that what she's doing is safe and isn't going to result in anything unpleasant. After she's sure of all that, and checks to see if anyone's nearby, she leaves the journal on a cleared spot near the edge of the lake and, slowly at first because it's been a while, heads away on a pair of ice skates]

There may be people stranded in their houses by the buildup of snow. As this was very likely not the end of the snowfall, shorter winters or not, it would be beneficial to all of us to organize a group that can take over clearing the paths through the village and to the doors of houses and apartment buildings. This isn't a task one person should attempt alone, even using artes or this world's magic. There's just too much snow for that.

Please be aware of new arrivals, also, and the unstable conditions of the snow outside the village, particularly in the mountains.

[first of all, there are several inconsequential doodles. This should be concerning because Nephry just doesn't doodle. Next there are several sentences that are so well crossed out they are unreadable. An ink spot where the pen rested too long on the page. A few more doodles.]

I...think I should go for a walk. I will take my journal with me just in case, however.

It is quite the long walk, and it will continue in a short while if she's not interrupted. I realize that the healers here are already overworked and doing all they can. It's a lot for anyone to handle. ...However, if any of you have the time and energy to spare, please stop by House 1. It isn't urgent. Don't feel the need to rush.
