[first of all, there are several inconsequential doodles. This should be concerning because Nephry just doesn't doodle. Next there are several sentences that are so well crossed out they are unreadable. An ink spot where the pen rested too long on the page. A few more doodles.]

I...think I should go for a walk. I will take my journal with me just in case, however.

[and for those out and about, Nephry can be found standing on the bridge between houses 32 and 33 and Community Housing 5. It is quite the long walk, and it will continue in a short while if she's not interrupted. She will answer written or voiced messages too, of course. ...The doodling is kind of a giveaway that something is wrong here]

Oh, no, I wouldn't trouble you, Regal. Or Professor Nebilim.

She would hardly object to her former student stopping by for a visit, especially now that the weather is getting colder.

...Perhaps for just a few minutes.

[And that settles it; he'll gesture for her to follow him back to his house just a short walk away.]

[the blue beacon is easy to follow. But she's a little suspicious of his sudden insistence on going inside]

[Well, it's cold out, and she doesn't seem to be in the best of health right now.]

[this is turning into quite the long short walk. At least she hasn't stopped again. She ended up on that first bridge when her thoughts just got ahead of her feet]

[it might just be worth it, then. Just before the house, a stone or something like it in the road makes her trip and drop her journal. Sigh. At least she didn't end up on the ground]

[At the sound of the journal hitting the ground, Regal turns around to see what just happened. While he's pleased she's still on her feet, he's still worried.]

Are you all right?

I'm fine. I tripped on something in the road.

[picking up the journal and catching up with him]

[doesn't feel the need to prove it to him. But there is a rock there a couple feet behind her. And it's pretty dark now, she could easily have missed it]

[Well, it's more that he's concerned than anything else, BUT ANYWAY. Resuming the trek to the house now.]

[Better think fast, because they're at the house now and Regal is going up to open the door.]

I won't stay long. It's getting late.

At least stay for a cup of tea before you go back out into the cold.

[Only a few seconds later, Gelda pokes her head into the hallway from the general kitchen area. She seems surprised for a moment, before her expression turns into a kind smile.]
