[first of all, there are several inconsequential doodles. This should be concerning because Nephry just doesn't doodle. Next there are several sentences that are so well crossed out they are unreadable. An ink spot where the pen rested too long on the page. A few more doodles.]

I...think I should go for a walk. I will take my journal with me just in case, however.

[and for those out and about, Nephry can be found standing on the bridge between houses 32 and 33 and Community Housing 5. It is quite the long walk, and it will continue in a short while if she's not interrupted. She will answer written or voiced messages too, of course. ...The doodling is kind of a giveaway that something is wrong here]

At the moment, I'm not walking. I've been...staring at the river, I suppose.

Why are you staring at the river? Did something happen to it, today?

N-No...this is just where I stopped, on one of the bridges.

[Bridge, river. Okay. There aren't too many of those in town, right? Right! So she'll be going out the door to find her, now. Still speaking into the journal, until she does, though!]

Why'd you stop? No wonder your walk wasn't working! You're supposed to actually walk on walks, Nephry~! [She giggles~]

I walked a long way to start with.

[she doesn't really have an explanation. Her thoughts just led her to stopping there]

[Anise is quiet for a little while, but that's just because she's running around town, looking for the bridge Nephry has decided to stop on.]

[Eventually, she does find it, and she'll come up to her, a little out of breath.]

Walked a long way is right, woah.

[she's gone back to leaning on the rail and looking at the water. Because it's getting darker, her face might be hard to see, but it sure looks like her hands are shaking. She registers Anise a few moments after she speaks, and folds those hands together, turning to look at her]

I'm sorry.

Don't be silly, this is nothing! [Please hold while we're catching our breath. She waves her hand dismissively at that apology, and is about to speak up again when she notices her shaking.]

Are you okay, Nephry...?

I'm just tired. It's nothing.

[Tilts her head up at her, before joining her on the bridge.]

You're not a very good liar~

[but it's not a lie! She is really tired]

What reason would I have to lie to you, Anise? [and it's a genuine question. Because she isn't lying and is surprised Anise thinks she is]

I dunno. Why would anyone have to lie to someone as cute and charming as me, I wonder~?

But - okay, maybe it's not a lie-lie. But it's not the whole truth, either~? [Because it's never "nothing". Ever.]

I can't even explain it all to myself. ...I just have a lot to think about recently.

Umm. Do you want to talk about it?

I miss my home.

... Keterburg's a really pretty place. I'd miss it, too.

...And it's strange for my brother and His Majesty and Saphir...and Professor Nebilim...to all be here, in the same place. That hasn't happened since I was a young girl.

You guys were all really close, right? Especially with the Professor, too! It's lucky you guys are all together again.

It's something that can never happen in Auldrant.
