I don't suppose anyone is home today to help make lunch?
[Nephry leaves the journal open for the sake of checking on it between cooking steps. Enjoy the sounds of a small but active kitchen for a while. ...Things are a little quiet when she comes back.]
Excuse me. I've had a small accident in the kitchen - could I speak with a healer?
[[ooc: I am posting all of this from my phone while the computer gets repaired, so I will be slow.]]

[Action] reduced to obsessing over Gmail? me?
Oh. Regal. I'm...glad you're here. [the truth is she hasn't been able to get a good look at her hand. The ruined half-sliced chicken on the counter should tell him what happened.]
[Action]
Like I said before, there's no need to thank me for this. May I see your hand?
[Action]
It didn't hurt at first. [they have sharp knives in this house. Under the towel is more blood than she cares to think about, and a deep slice in her palm that goes off along the side of her wrist too.]
[Action]
That is usually because the injury is so sudden that it takes some time for the brain to process it, or so I've read. It's good that you called for a healer; a cut like this could be dangerous if the bleeding is not stopped quickly.
[Action]
[Though she looks like this whole thing is unsettling her stomach.]
I didn't think I could...do much about it on my own.

Though now that you're here, you're welcome to stay for lunch.

Instead she raises an eyebrow at Regal, then gets up to look at what's left of her lunch]
I suppose I'll have to throw this out...
