...Even knowing it is an experiment...doesn't seem to be changing my thoughts. How strange.

Though I am quite certain it could be much, much worse. After all, I...mm.

[you can find her, by the way, walking around outside after this post, with the occasional dreamy sigh. She has her journal and will answer voice replies, too - already affected, she's safe to talk to]

Is that so? I always did think you two would make a smart match.

[Even so, she's unsure what to think about this. Nephry is married and Peony is... well... Peony. Considering this is an experiment, the aftermath might not be too pretty.]

[That's news to Gelda.] For how long?

... I see.

[When she was still living in Auldrant, she'd never questioned the Score. Relationships were decided by the planet's memory and she'd accepted that as a part of everyday life. Ever since she came to Luceti and experienced freedom, though, she's grown to despise the Score's influence on people's lives.]

[Because of the experiment, perhaps?] Once something was written in the Score, there was nothing we could do to change that fate, regardless of how beneficial it was.

Was it true happiness, or was it merely a sense of fulfillment in regards to your duty?

Hmm... Fair enough. [She gives Nephry a faint smile.]

Yes, I suppose I can. [It's a tricky situation, to say the least. Normally, she'd tell Nephry to go for it, as Luceti isn't bound by the Score anyway. But not only is she married, she's also under the influence of an experiment right now.]

I can imagine... Though you may not remember Luceti at all when you return to Auldrant.
