I'm going to be out of the house for a while. I should be back before it gets too late.

[Nephry set out rather early this morning, actually, headed for the small lake. She's spent a good amount of time being sure that what she's doing is safe and isn't going to result in anything unpleasant. After she's sure of all that, and checks to see if anyone's nearby, she leaves the journal on a cleared spot near the edge of the lake and, slowly at first because it's been a while, heads away on a pair of ice skates]

[on one of her passes by, she overbalances a little and falls again, harder this time. Oops]

[At that he quickly stands up to help her.] Are you okay?

Yes, I'm fine. [gets back up without a problem, brushing bits of ice off of her coat] I've fallen before this.

[He nods but remains standing near the edge of the lake to keep a closer eye on her.]

[while he's gone she'll skate a little more, then take a break for a while]

[After about half an hour he comes back with a pair of ice skates and...lunch!]

[He kneels down on the probably frozen grass to put on his skates.]

[goes in a few lazy circles, waiting for him]

[After a few minutes, his skates are finally on. He steps into the ice and almost falls, a bit wobbly as he gets the hang of ice skating again. He's out of practice.]

[comes over fast enough to catch his elbow and help him balance]

[satisfied for now, she lets go of his arm and heads across the lake]

[He skates around in small circles before heading in her direction.]

[she doesn't really know how to do anything fancy, though she might have once - governing doesn't leave a lot of room for recreation. So she'll just go on going in circles]
