[The Malnosso have decided to leave Nephry off in the forest northwest of House 1. The chances of anyone finding her there are slim, you see, unless they're out on patrol or know to be looking. And it's cold, and snowy - quite snowy - and she's been drugged beyond real coherence. The journal, though, is close enough to her for her to touch, and open. Anyone listening will here a few sharp coughs followed by what she must think is an understandable sentence. Except it's not.]

[she's in bed, half-awake and just drifting. Even if she can't quite see him, she would know those snarky footsteps anywhere]

[You mistake Jade for someone who is not aware of what goes on in this house, Nephry. It's easy for him to assume that the one responsible for it would either be Anise or Peony. And judging by the mess... It would have to be Peony. No one knows Peony's messes like Jade.

He also knows Peony was totally fondling her earlier.

The only thing he can wonder is what exactly they did to her, really.]

[not in any condition to translate from Jadespeak. She'll worry about where to get a new pair of glasses when she can actually sit up and stuff. There's not much to see right now, especially when she has no visitors]
