[The Malnosso have decided to leave Nephry off in the forest northwest of House 1. The chances of anyone finding her there are slim, you see, unless they're out on patrol or know to be looking. And it's cold, and snowy - quite snowy - and she's been drugged beyond real coherence. The journal, though, is close enough to her for her to touch, and open. Anyone listening will here a few sharp coughs followed by what she must think is an understandable sentence. Except it's not.]

[if she knew you better, she would realize you are saying some strange things, Kratos. It's obvious she's in no condition to do anything except lie there. So of course that's what she'll do. She doesn't exactly love it, but she has no choice...and now there's someone here to talk to again. Too bad she's still struggling with talking, and Kratos isn't much of a chatterbox either]
