...Even knowing it is an experiment...doesn't seem to be changing my thoughts. How strange.

Though I am quite certain it could be much, much worse. After all, I...mm.

[you can find her, by the way, walking around outside after this post, with the occasional dreamy sigh. She has her journal and will answer voice replies, too - already affected, she's safe to talk to]

You know, I haven't seen you with your hair down in so long. [His hand moves to her hair, tugging it loose.]

Ah! Be careful, Peony. [moves his hand out of the way so she can take her hair down herself. It's a little more complicated than he seems to think] You saw it the last time I was stuck in bed, you know.

That was different. [His smile grows wider when her hair finally falls down to her shoulders.]

Was it? [teasing~]

You know it was. [Lowering his sandwich now, his smile fading into an entirely different look. He raises a hand to caress her cheek.]

[He threads his other hand through her hair, drawing her closer.]

[He gently takes that hand and intertwines it with his - the one that isn't busy tangling her hair.]

I won't force you to do something you don't want to.

If there is a problem...it has nothing to do with whether I want to.

But it's still your choice.

[she meant that she does want it. It's whether or not she should]

[He won't make the decision for her, but it's pretty obvious that he wants it, too.]

[then let him read her face and figure out that he should just act]

[Read it he does, as he slowly moves closer until his lips meet hers.]

[He moves his hand to the base of her neck, deepening the kiss. He never thought they would be doing this again, and he's making the most out of it.]
