If i could, I would quiet them so I could use the journal without...this problem.

I'm sure a nice, solid ax swing would keep them quiet for a little while, but something tells me you're not the type to carry something like that around.

Nothing I recognize at the moment. If I keep going or wait long enough, I suspect things will change back, or change again. Or both.

Yeah, more than likely. Although, you're probably better off walking around than staying in the same spot. You might find someone else in the same situation you're in, that way.
