[This morning, with things only getting more and more out of control, Nephry decided it was past time she looked in on a few people.

And by a few, we mean just about anyone she knows well enough to care about. Even if she had just talked to them the day before. Her own experience of the experiment and holiday seemed restricted to a few sinister shadows and some creaks in the night; she might as well put her relative calm to good use somewhere.

So today, for most of the day (until late afternoon), she's headed around the village doing just that.]

[She stirs anyway, waking up slowly and blinking blearily. She rubs her eyes a little.]

Wha... Did I fall asleep...?

[She sits up, slowly because falling asleep in the position that she did was no good for her back.]

Won't help my back, though. I should probably head to bed... [but her bedroom has been the site of some pretty creepy things, so.]

I guess... [She looks warily in the direction of her room.] Maybe later, though...? I think I came here looking for food and kind of fell asleep instead.

Um, nothing. Just... [She sighs.] The Colonel's gone again.

I know. ...I'm sorry. I know you're close to him.

[She shrugs.] It's okay. I mean, it's been really crazy around here so it's probably better he isn't around to see any of this...

[...Sighs again.] Boo, I miss him already.
