[This morning, with things only getting more and more out of control, Nephry decided it was past time she looked in on a few people.

And by a few, we mean just about anyone she knows well enough to care about. Even if she had just talked to them the day before. Her own experience of the experiment and holiday seemed restricted to a few sinister shadows and some creaks in the night; she might as well put her relative calm to good use somewhere.

So today, for most of the day (until late afternoon), she's headed around the village doing just that.]

[[ooc: So  essentially if a character has enough CR with Nephry that she knows his or her name, she is looking to check up on them. That definitely includes not just new Luceti friends but housemates and castmates, too. This was so supposed to be this morning and I fail.]]

Yes. [oh Minato you look awful] May I come in?

Ah - [don't mind him looking unfocused for a moment. As soon as he took off the headphones the screaming started again.] Yes, of course.

I don't want to disturb anyone.

My sister's asleep, but we can use the kitchen. [for once he's awake when she isn't. Neither have had the best sleep schedule since this started.]

You look like you could use some sleep as well.

I could.

[come this way, and don't mind the girl sleeping on a futon in the living room.]

[she waits until they're through the room to say anything else]

But something is stopping you.

[careful not to run into him, because after he steps through the kitchen door he freezes - for a moment, the room is instead a back alley with the body of a dying teenager. He closes his eyes] It's a little loud.

[the kitchen looks normal to her, if a little...dark. But Minato's abrupt stop is cause for concern, and she rests her hands on his shoulders]

Minato? What is it?

[he stiffens before he can force himself to relax.] It's nothing.

[just a dark and empty kitchen.] Could you turn on the light?

[silversnowfall]

[that was so very much not nothing. But she reaches over to turn the light on, and her next step will be to (gently) make him sit down in a chair.]

[He protests just a little.] I should make tea...

[silversnowfall]

Would you like some? I'd be more than happy to make it, if it would help.

[emp3thy]

[...well, alright. He gives in and sits down.] There's green or black.

[There are times when you just don't argue with her and this is one of them. Making tea now.]

[may be closing his eyes and leaning on the table while she does so. It's still loud. It sounds like Aigis now - and if he opened his eyes and looked left he'd see her kneeling broken, like that time in December.]

[silversnowfall]

[It seems like he's asleep, though, and she wouldn't want to wake him. So she hardly lets the kettle whistle at all before pouring the tea and placing one cup silently beside him]

[he's not asleep, though, so when she does that he reaches to take it without opening his eyes.] Thank you.
