While I can't speak for other worlds, in Auldrant we celebrate the "new year" in the middle of winter, shortly after the longest night. It's a bit different from the way things work here...but regardless, I am curious as to how many other worlds share a similar tradition.

Once, she thinks about visiting Professor Nebilim, but she can't be sure of how late the woman stays at the school after class, and she wouldn't want to interrupt.

In short, she's a little bit of everywhere, ending that evening at Good Spirits. For a change of pace. And a drink, of course. Facades can be such a strain on the system.]

In a sense, a brand new situation is being forced on them all without them truly understanding all of the details. And even if they were to... it might make it more difficult for them to accept. That... was always a risk. However the system needed to be changed. I've no doubt the entire world would have been left to destruction, or worse, had it not been...

Thank you. That is my hope, anyway. It's... the aftermath that is a concern, now. Can you imagine, reuniting two civilizations that had been separated for so long... and with one side having benefitted from years of prosperity while the other was fading fast?

I meant...to warn you, in return. Someone is here, now, who caused quite a bit of trouble in my world as well. He's asked for a truce...and I'd like to hope he will hold up his end of it. I don't think he's as openly dangerous as your acquaintance is.

I see... you mentioned the possibility of it before. If he is willing to offer a truce, hopefully it means that he's rational enough to realize that antagonizing anyone here has little point. [Unlike some people.]

He doesn't have it with him now... but when he was -- well, likely around the age he appears to be, he had equipped himself with... [She frowns, trying to find the best way to term it for someone who doesn't know. And ... should she even be saying this much?
