I trust much of the panic has settled by now.

There has been a Shift that displaced some of us from our homes this past evening. We should be prepared for the possibility that it will happen again tonight, but in light of the lack of serious injuries it seems the preparations for the festival, and our lives in general, may proceed.

Unless there are other complications from this Shift?

[Ion's been rather mopey, what with Ranka still gone, but yesterday cheered him up a bit and he's finally done sulking in his room like a teenage boy... which he technically is now, but that's besides the point. Nephry might here a slight echo as Ion answers her while walking into the room.]

I certainly hope there aren't anymore complications. Waking up in the home of someone you don't know already sounds rather unpleasant...

I haven't witnessed any other alterations as of yet. [Big bro has been keeping his eyes peeled, as usual.]

Although, if our homes are going to continue to be involved in an extensional game of musical chairs, it would perhaps be wise to move some preparations outdoors. [Because this festival is so important to you, sister, for some reason.]

[Despite still being in the house, working on a few things - mostly paperwork this time around - Dist answers over the journals. It was so much easier that way, after all. His work, however, had become progressively slower as he continued to fret over his missing child. Adopted or not, that was still his daughter now, and he'd take every moment or two to page through his journal for her voice.]

The only complications I have heard of are peoples' belongings being Shifted along with them.

[And no, he is not elaborating on that. Finding a drawer full of women's underwear was traumatizing enough.]
