[She gives Nephry's shoulder another comforting pat, before standing up straight again.] Now, how about I make you that hot cocoa?

[Nephry frowns and brings her legs up onto the chair with her to hug them. She's still cold, though the house is warm]

[Once the milk is on the stove and heating at a slow pace, Gelda turns to Nephry again.]

Let's see... I'm afraid I don't have any clothes your size, but how does a blanket sound?

That sounds really good. Me and Miss Milly are cold.

Then, I'll be right back. [He heads upstairs to fetch a nice thick blanket for Nephry. Fleece should be fine.]

[but she left the heat... Nephry will be standing up on her chair when Gelda gets back, thinking the stove is on. She learned about starting fires on accident too.]

[Oh, don't worry. She turned the heat down to its lowest setting before she left, and she's back in the kitchen within a minute. As soon as she enters, she hands Nephry the blanket.] Here you are.

[Aaand back to the stove to stir the milk.]

[A blanket! Nephry takes it and wraps it around herself, plopping back down into the chair]

[Meanwhile, all the commotion has caught Satake's interest. As Gelda's attention is on the milk, the small dog steps into the kitchen, his curious gaze on Nephry.]

Professor! You have a puppy?

[She turns to see Satake, who's approaching Nephry in hopes of being petted.]

Oh, yes. He's our guest as well, so to speak. His name is Satake.

[Nephry slides off the chair so she can pet Satake, grinning]

He's cute!

[Satake leans into Nephry's touch, before trying to lick her hand.]
